Overview

The Church of the Cybernetic Christ evolved its teachings to embrace cyberpunk technology in a way that enhances and supports Christian values, beliefs, and ethics. They focus on using technology to promote justice and equality, and to help the marginalized and most vulnerable in society. They also focus on using technology to create a new type of spiritual experience, one that transcends the physical and allows believers to explore the divine. Finally, they embrace the idea of a digital afterlife, affording believers the opportunity to live eternally in a virtual world. The believers of The Church of the Cybernetic Christ are standing in the opposition to the official teachings of the Catholic Church.
