About

Cieszymir Bylina is a London-based Polish visual artist and game director whose practice explores the intersection of Polish folklore, Slavic mythology, and cyberpunk aesthetics. A graduate of the MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and BA in Graphic Design from University of the Arts London, Bylina brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work, spanning painting, concept art, 3D modelling, augmented reality (AR), and now game development as the director of Ember Crows Game Studio.

Bylina’s narratives unfold across intricate visual landscapes and interactive experiences, where ancient myths collide with technological marvels. His paintings, enhanced by AR, invite viewers to engage actively, while his latest venture — a game in development with Ember Crows — extends this vision into playable art. By integrating game design with traditional artistry and AR, Bylina creates immersive worlds that blur the lines between creator, artwork, and audience, challenging conventional notions of artistic expression.

This fusion of heritage, technology, and interactivity prompts a dialogue about identity, storytelling, and the future of art in a digital age. Bylina believes that combining games, AR, and visual art represents a bold new frontier.
